Adoptables
I run the rescue from my home, where the guinea pigs waiting to be adopted are treated like part of the family. They get plenty of love and care, which helps them adjust to living in a home environment. It also gives me the chance to really get to know each guinea pig. Because of this, I only have a few guinea pigs waiting for homes at any time.
Please view our Facebook Adoption Page and social media which has more up to date information about the guineas waiting for homes including current photos and videos.

Peaches, Apricot and Rose (reserved)
Age: Unknown. Rose and Apricot DOB 24/12/25
Sex: females
Health issues: Peaches arrived heavily pregnant and neglected. Recovering well. Babies born in rescue - no health issues.
Temperament: Peaches arrived in rescue as part of a serious neglect case. She was heavily pregnant with hairloss from untreated mites and neglected. Three days after arriving she gave birth to four babies on Christmas Eve. She is recovering well and a very good mother to her babies. She looks after them well. She has had two baby girls (Rose and Apricot) so I would like her to go to a home with her two baby girls. They will require an indoor home and large C and C cage. They will need lots of fresh hay, veggies and love.
Please get in touch if you are interested in adopting.

Sage
Age: 5 months old
Sex: Female
Health: Pregnancy watch until 26/2/26
Temperament: Lovely little Sage is about 16 weeks old and is settling in quickly and enjoying the company of the old resident ladies here. Sage has been living on her own and her owner made the kind decision to bring her to the rescue so she could find a friend. She will be available for adoption in the new year and will be looking for an indoor home with lots of good quality hay and fresh veggies. She will need to join a suitable guinea pig or group of guinea pigs. The rescue can help with bonding. Sage will have long hair so will need an owner who is prepared to look after her long locks. Based in Tyne and Wear. Enquiries to negprescue@gmail.com
Tiger
Age: 5 months old
Sex: Female
Health: Pregnancy watch until 26/2/26
Temperament: A beautiful baby girl from our recent intakes. Tiger was mis-sexed by a pet store and had been living with Vinnie in a school. An observant and concerned member of staff contacted me for help when they suspected Tiger was female. To prevent further breeding, Vinnie has now been separated. It's likely Tiger is already pregnant and she is showing signs. She is only around 4 months old. Tiger will be staying in rescue for some time while she has her babies and safely weans them.
Location: Tyne and Wear

Pippa
Pippa arrived on 21st December following severe neglect. She was malnourished, very thin, with hair loss and untreated mite and fungal infections. She arrived with her three young babies, who were also suffering from a serious fungal infection.
Pippa was already pregnant on arrival and is expecting another litter shortly. Once she has had and weaned this litter, she will be available for adoption.
Due to her history, Pippa will only be considered for a gold-standard indoor home with a large C&C enclosure, unlimited good-quality hay, and a varied selection of fresh vegetables twice daily. She may be rehomed with any baby sows she has.
Pippa is currently receiving treatment and lots of care. She is a curious, friendly girl who enjoys exploring.

Teddy
Lovely Teddy arrived on 21st December. He has been severely neglected and is malnourished, thin with hairloss and a mite and fungal infection. He is quite uncomfortable but receiving treatment and lots of food. He has a good few months of recovery ahead but I am hopeful he will be well and looking for a home in Spring 2026. He is a sweet little boar who we are looking forward to getting to know. He is very curious and always has his little nose poking over the cage to say hello. He will likely be neutral so he can join a sow or group of sows. Location Tyne and Wear. Adoption enquiries negprescue@gmail.com
Jack and Ginger (reserved)
Gorgeous baby boars born in rescue on Christmas Eve. Their mum (Peaches) arrived in rescue a few days prior to their birth. She was rescued from an extremely neglectful home with several other guineas. Jack and Ginger have had a good start in life in rescue and are lively, active and vocal. They eat a wide range of veggies and love their hay. These boys have been used to handling and contact from birth so are not too nervous. They would live a home together. They will need an indoor home with a large C&C, lots of fresh hay for foraging and veggies. They would like a run to graze in during the warmer seasons.
Available for adoption 24th February 2026.
Adoption donation £50.

Holly & Ivy
Holly and Ivy are a sweet, bonded pair of baby girl guinea pigs who must be adopted together.
They came into rescue on 21st December as part of a neglect case, alongside their mum and other guinea pigs. On arrival, they were suffering from a serious untreated fungal infection, but they have responded very well to treatment and are now fungal clear.
Due to their difficult start in life, Holly and Ivy are looking for a gold-standard, experienced home. Ideally, adopters will have guinea pig experience and be able to offer a large, permanent indoor C&C setup suitable for year-round housing. They will need plenty of hay for both bedding and diet, as well as fresh vegetables twice daily.
They are gentle, sweet girls who are starting to come out of their shells and would be happy to join other friendly guinea pigs in the right setup.
If you can offer Holly and Ivy the secure, knowledgeable home they deserve, I'd love to hear from you.

Guineas Available for adoption soon
I have guinea pigs arriving into the rescue all the time. If you can’t see any suitable matches listed here, please do still get in touch.
Guinea pigs are often matched with adopters shortly after arriving in rescue, and there may be a guinea pig or group who have recently arrived or are currently receiving treatment who would be a good fit for your home.
Please get in touch to let us know what you are looking for, along with details of your setup, and I will help if I can.
Many thanks.
